Three men, all formerly incarcerated, joined Lighthouse United Methodist Church on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, 2017, according to Rev. James Luvene, pastor of the Alamo, Tennessee, congregation.

Lighthouse, Luvene explained, came to know the men as it partners with Wade Harvest Ministries of Alamo to provide housing, personal items and job location assistance for individuals as they transition from incarceration.

“The men worship at Lighthouse, have two weekly Bible studies at the church and attend other church activities,” reported Luvene.
