Rev. Paul Lynn had registered for the 2018-19 Academy of Coaching and Leadership for Local Pastors just before his unexpected death on Sept. 5, 2018.

Lynn was a retired local pastor serving Crump and Shiloh United Methodist Churches in the Tennessee River District.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, Lynn’s complete preaching library and resources were offered by his widow Grace to others new to ministry and attending the December session of the Academy..

Calling the library “one of the finest preaching resource collections” he has seen “in some time,” Dr. Joe Geary shared a photo on Facebook and asked, “How are we investing in pastors new to the call and ministry?”

Geary is director of Connectional Ministries for the Memphis Conference that sponsors the Academy. Click here to read more about the Academy.

Anyone interested in the remaining books and resources from Lynn’s library should contact Elyse Bell, director of missional engagement, at ebell@memphis-umc.org | 731-664-8480.

The Memphis Conference office is located at 24 Corporate Blvd. in Jackson.
