2019 is the sixth year New Hope United Methodist Church in Mansfield, Tennessee, has hosted a summer Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children from throughout its Carroll County community.
"To Mars and Beyond" was the theme for the VBS that took place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., June 10-14, at the Vale Community Center in Vale, Tennessee.
"It gets better every year," reported Rhonda Crawford, one of the organizers, along with Christine Pardue, Peggy Summers and Sheryl Wright.
"We have served right at 100 children in the six years and over 12 churches have been represented. We have been very blessed with the support of our community as our church does not have a budget for VBS," said Crawford.
Activities included Bible study, arts and crafts, science and recreation. Breakfast and lunch were served to all the children.
