July 31 is new deadline for nominations for 'Denman Evangelism Awards' to be presented in September
By Rev. Will Clark
Memphis Conference Chairperson for Evangelism
Associate Pastor, Dyersburg First United Methodist Church
The Memphis Conference is now accepting nominations for the Harry Denman Evangelism Award for clergy, lay and youth.
The deadline has been postponed to July 31 due to the postponement of the 2020 Memphis Annual Conference from June to September.
These awards honor United Methodists whose exceptional ministry of evangelism – expressed in Word (what), Sign (why) and Deed (how) – brings people into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
Each year each United Methodist conference joins The Foundation for Evangelism to recognize one youth, one clergy, and one lay person in their conference.
