Lay servants, speakers, ministers will have lunch, commissioning during Memphis Annual Conference
A lay servant lunch will take place during the 2019 Memphis Annual Conference at Collierville United Methodist Church in Collierville, Tennessee.
The event for active and prospective Memphis Conference lay servants, lay speakers and lay ministers is set for the lunch break on Monday, June 3. (Note: This event is different from the June 4 Laity Lunch.)
The cost is $5 per person (payable at the door), but a reservation is required. CLICK HERE TO MAKE ONLINE RESERVATION BY MAY 27. The menu is baked potato bar and salad bar.
The lay servant lunch will include the commissioning of all lay servants, speakers and ministers certified since the 2018 Memphis Annual Conference, according to Susan Davidson, who is coordinating the lunch and serves as the Memphis Conference director of Lay Servant Ministries and is the lay resource leader for the Mississippi River District.
