Lay servants, speakers, ministers will have lunch, commissioning during Memphis Annual Conference
A lay servant lunch will take place during the 2018 Memphis Annual Conference at Broadway United Methodist Church in Paducah, Kentucky.
The event for active and prospective Memphis Conference lay servants, lay speakers and lay ministers is set for the lunch break on Tuesday, June 5, in Igert Hall at the church, located at 701 Broadway.
The cost is $5 per person for a sack lunch (pay at the door), but a reservation is required. CLICK HERE TO MAKE ONLINE RESERVATION BY MAY 31.
The lay servant lunch will include the commissioning of all lay servants, speakers and ministers certified since the 2017 Memphis Annual Conference in Collierville, Tennessee, according to Susan Davidson, who is coordinating the lunch and serves as the Memphis Conference director of Lay Servant Ministries and is the lay resource leader for the Mississippi River District.
