Hazel United Methodist Church in Hazel, Kentucky, celebrated 114 years in ministry at a homecoming Service on Sunday, May 6.
Who we celebrated with is what is remarkable.
Through our Wednesday morning time of Bible study, fellowship and prayer that we have re-branded and are calling, "Coffee With God," we have welcomed people from different races and denominations. From these relationships, bridges have been formed culminating into today's witness.
Hazel United Methodist Church was joined by St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky. Their pastor, Rev. Ronald Kendrick, brought our message.
The New Creation Choir brought our special music and we were blessed with a glimpse of what heaven will be like: no boundaries of race, denomination or gender.
