Encourage young adults you know to apply for Global Mission Fellows Program; deadline is Jan. 7

The application for the United Methodist Global Mission Fellows Program opened on Sept. 15. We have over 340 applications in progress or submitted from young adults (ages 20-30) across the world that are ready to answer God’s call to Act Justly, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly with God.
But only 17 of the applications received so far are from the United States.
Please identify at least one young adult in your network who might be a good fit for the Global Mission Fellows Program. We are looking for people who are passionate about mission and justice.

Perhaps someone doesn’t know quite what God has in store for them in the future after graduation?  Maybe someone has gifts for ministry, but they want to develop their leadership skills before serving in the local church?
We need young people who ask hard questions about why people suffer in the world and want to be part of the solution.
We need health workers and preachers, those who love kids and those who care for the plight of refugees. We need English majors and farmers. We are looking for all kinds of people.
Invite a young person to apply. If it will help, send them my contact info. I, as a staff person and alumna, will be happy to walk them through the application process.
The application deadline is Jan. 7, 2019 with an Early Access Deadline of Dec. 3, 2018.
