Dr. Harry Durbin to join Golden Cross Senior Ministries as Outreach/Development Coordinator

Dr. Harry Durbin, retired senior vice president for faith and health with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, will join Golden Cross Senior Ministries in the newly created position of outreach/development coordinator beginning Jan. 1, according to a Dec. 1 announcement from David Kabakoff, president of Golden Cross Senior Ministries.
Durbin’s primary role will be to assist in expanding the reach and awareness of Golden Cross and assist in fundraising and program expansion.
“It is a rare and exciting opportunity to be able to tap into Harry’s knowledge and talents. His reputation and connections within the Memphis Conference will help accelerate the growth of Golden Cross and enable us to serve even more seniors. Harry’s involvement will allow us to transform even more lives, one need at a time”, said Kabakoff.
Durbin commented, “Golden Cross Senior Ministries represents some of the Church’s most sacred work as we care for our seniors. It is an honor to join the team and help strengthen and resource the mission.”
Golden Cross Senior Ministries serves the senior residents of the 29 Wesley Living affordable housing retirement communities throughout West Tennessee, Jonesboro, AR, Murray, KY and all seniors served by Wesley Living entities. 100% of all general donations to Golden Cross go directly to benefit the senior served by Wesley Living.
