Mobility Worldwide Memphis (formerly known at PET-Memphis) and Memphis Conference United Methodist Men will together exhibit their joint ministry at the 2017 Memphis Annual Conference and are currently seeking donations to also assemble PETs during the June 4-6 gathering at Collierville United Methodist Church in Collierville, Tennessee.
A PET (personal energy transport) is a three-wheeled, hand-cranked wheelchair for people in developing nations who have limited mobility, often due to polio and landmines.
Donations from individuals or groups to help build PETs at the 2017 Memphis Annual Conference should be mailed to Mobility Worldwide Memphis, c/o Steven Ragsdale, 571 S. Graham St., Memphis, TN 38111.

The goal is to raise $3,000 for 10 PETs at a cost of $300 each.
