Children will have ministry opportunities at the 2015 Memphis Annual Conference, May 31-June 3 in Jackson, Tenn.

Organizers are planning a nursery for infants through three-year-olds and a kids' camp for preschoolers through fifth graders. There is no cost, but preregistration by May 8 is required.

The 2015 Memphis Annual Conference will take place at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in downtown Jackson and at Jackson First UMC, located across the street at 200 S. Church Street.

Children’s ministry activities will be based at Jackson First UMC, but are a collaborative offering from Jackson First UMC, Northside UMC and Grace UMC in Jackson, according to Jenni Thorn, director of children’s ministry at Jackson First UMC.

“These days will be filled with all the ‘good stuff’ that makes ministry fun and inspiring,” said Thorn. “Take a look!”

Activities will include fellowship, recreation, games, food, art, Bible stories, music and field trips.

“All age-appropriate activities will be led by adults who have been Safe Sanctuary-trained and have a passion for God and for kids,” added Thorn.
