Lakeshore hopes to open summer camp on June 21

Lakeshore Camp and Retreat Center
It has been such a strange year, and we understand any hesitation you may be feeling about sending your child to summer camp. We're dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on how we are responding to this crisis. The state of Tennessee is still under strict guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19, prohibiting gatherings of more than 10 people. Even with limiting cabin sizes and restricting activity areas, running a quality camp experience under these restrictions is not possible. After much thought and discussion, we have made the difficult decision to suspend the opening of camp through June 20. We will continue to monitor the situation, but we hope to open camp on June 21.
We have instituted new medical and check-in protocols for camp this summer. Our first priority is to keep our campers, staff, residents and everyone else safe and healthy. We are encouraging everyone to familiarize themselves with the changes to the check-in policy and cleaning protocols.
We are hoping and praying to see you this summer. If you have not registered yet and would like to check out our summer schedule to find a camp session that works for you.
