Memphis Conference churches are invited to celebrate MLH SUNDAY on Sept. 30.

By Rev. Dr. Albert Mosley, Senior Vice President
Faith and Health Division, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare

From our origins in The United Methodist Church to the hundreds of partner congregations in our Congregational Health Network, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis, Tennessee, has always sought to live out our Methodist calling through faithful service and partnership with Christ’s church.

As part of our Centennial Celebration (1918-2018), we are inviting churches in the Memphis Conference of The United Methodist Church to celebrate MLH SUNDAY on Sept. 30.

Visit www.methodisthealth.org/mlhsunday to download flyers and liturgy resources, in addition to digital versions of a poster and bulletin insert. And if you are planning on participating in MLH Sunday, visit the website and let us know your congregation will be joining us in prayer and celebration.

We hope this will be an opportunity to pray for the mission of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and for your congregation to celebrate our shared calling to heal the sick, just as Jesus did in scripture.

If your church will participate, please let us know by taking this survey: https://secureforms.methodisthealth.org/apps/mlh-forms/mlh-sunday OR email Rev. Jonathan C. Lewis at jonathan.lewis@mlh.org
