On Sunday, March 30, the combined children's Sunday school classes from First Methodist and First Presbyterian spent some creative time outdoors decorating the sidewalk between their two neighboring downtown Memphis, Tenn., churches.
Armed with pink, green, yellow, blue and red outdoor chalk, the children were asked to draw their favorite images of Easter.
After several hours of fun work, one can now walk down Poplar Avenue, look down and see colorful Easter eggs, jumping rabbits, crosses, palm branches, Easter lilies, and flowers that were drawn by these creative children.
The sidewalk art will remain until Easter - or the next rain.
