El Redentor United Methodist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, was among the "Hispanic fellowships" represented at Hospitable Evangelism, a day-long workshop on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Blackman United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro, TN.

More than 40 adults and 20 youth attended the workshop for Hispanic fellowships in the Memphis and Tennessee Conferences of The United Methodist Church.

The workshop was sponsored by The Turner Center for Church Leadership at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tennessee, and the Tennessee Conference Hispanic Committee, under the leadership of Revs. Janet and Eluid Martinez. 

The workshop speaker was Rev. Dr. Irving Cotto, a United Methodist pastor who teaches in the Hispanic Course of Study at Garrett Evangelical Seminary in Evanston, Illinois, and is a district superintendent in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church.
