Brown Bag Lunch (speaker: Fighter Pilot Elmer Follis, Jr.), Germantown UMC, Germantown, TN
Hear Stories from a Fighter Pilot at the December Brown Bag Lunch!

Col. Elmer Follis, Jr. has lived a life stocked with purpose, valor, and honor. As a pilot for the U.S. Air Force, he flew 400 combat missions in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. In 1967 he was assigned to a F-100 squadron as operations officer, where he flew close air support, interdiction, and landing zone preparation for friendly helicopters. He is going to talk about those missions and how his squadron saved thousands of U.S. lives at the December Brown Bag Lunch Series, an adventure in learning sponsored by the Older Adult Council. Join us for some military reminiscence on Pearl Harbor Day.
