Learn about Scams against Seniors at the January Brown Bag Lunch!
Older adults are one of the highest targeted groups by scammers. Every day medical, financial, disaster relief, home maintenance, and phone scams come to people through the mail and their computers and telephones. Identity theft has become the norm rather than the exception. Randy Hutchinson, from the Better Business Bureau of the Mid-South, is going to alert us to what the latest scams are and how we can be more knowledgeable and aware as we go about our daily living at the January Brown Bag Lunch Series, an adventure in learning sponsored by the Older Adult Council.
