The Guatemalan Mobile Consulate is returning to the Mid-South to assist our Guatemalan neighbors with forms and other documentation that will ensure these persons have up-to-date passports, official government identification cards, marriage licenses and birth certificates. Individuals travel from Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi and all over West Tennessee to see consulate officials

Trinity United Methodist Church and Iglesia Metodista Unida "El Redentor" in Memphis, Tennessee, are hosting the consulate on March 25-26 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday).

The event will take place at Trinity United Methodist Church at 1738 Galloway Ave., Memphis, TN 38112

Friends from Peace Tree United Methodist Church in Collierville, Tennessee, and other area churches are volunteering during this event, and are looking for others who can help in one or more of the following ways:

  • Hospitality
  • Spanish/English translation
  • Childcare

  • Copy room
  • Anything else
To volunteer, visit the online volunteer form (http://bit.ly/2dfz1xF) or email peacetreeumc@gmail.com with the time slot and volunteer area in which you plan to serve.

It takes over 100 volunteers to make this consulate visit a success. In December 2015, over 1,200 people attended, and in October 2016, over 1,600 people attended at Asbury United Methodist Church in Memphis.
