Meetings about 'new apportionment proposal' for Memphis Conference are scheduled during March
Four district presentations about a new apportionment proposal for the Memphis Conference of The United Methodist Church to take place in March have been announced by the Memphis Conference Treasurer’s Office.
Each annual conference has the authority to decide its own formula for apportionments to local churches within its boundary.
Apportioned funds, a method of giving that proportionally allocates the budget, are the main way United Methodists support the ministries of the church.
