Emmanuel UMC brings relationship experts' program, 'Fight Night,' to Memphis on March 3

2/16/2017

Emmanuel United Methodist Church (UMC) in Memphis, Tennessee, is hosting a virtual event of Fight Night, a program presented by relationship experts Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, on Friday, March 3, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, authors, speakers and professionals who teach the basics of good and healthy relationships, will present, virtually, their popular FIGHT NIGHT program.

The program is being presented at Emmanuel UMC for those wanting to learn more about why couples fight, bridging the gender gap in fights, keeping a cool head and avoiding the four red flags of conflict.

Fight Night is publicized as:

  • a program for everyone – newlyweds, oldyweds, seriously dating, engaged couples
  • a fun night of humor, encouragement, insights and strategies
  • a male-friendly marriage event for couples at any age or stage
In that spirit the church is promoting the evening as Date Night and will provide popcorn and door prizes.

Couples will leave with a participant guide with practical take-home tools and ideas to improve their relationship.

Emmanuel UMC is offering this program to the Memphis community to help couples that might benefit from relationship advice, but not have access to professional guidance.

The cost to attend is $10 per couple or $8 per person. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door.

Limited nursery is available for three years and under by reservation only, first come, first served, by calling the church office for reservations at 901- 754-6548.
