'Boosterville' is program for churches to raise money

7/26/2017

Boosterville is a program presented to local United Methodist Churches by the General Council on Finance and Administration (GCFA) of The United Methodist Church in the July 25 issue of its electronic newsletter, The Ministry Minute.

Boosterville helps local churches encourage its supporters -- or “boosters” -- to make purchases from participating Boosterville businesses -- restaurants, hair salons, pet groomers, bookstores, coffee shops and more -- who share back a small portion of the purchases to the church.

Like schools and football teams, local churches can have "boosters" who are enthusiastic supporters in the community and help get the word out about the ministries of the church.
