written a story for their annual youth musical that engages
all ages. It is the story of six friends who discover what
it really means to live each day with a “blessed assurance.”
When William, Adam, Brian, Nora, Lori and Robin graduated f
rom college in 1990, they were assured of a few things: life
was great, their friendship was strong, and they were ready
to live the American dream.  For 22 years, they’ve lived th
at dream – to some extent – but dreams don’t last forever, a
nd what do you do when you wake up to the harsh reality call
ed life? Small crises can seem huge, and large crises can se
em overwhelming – unless we have the assurance, the “blessed
assurance,” that Someone bigger has everything in control.
William is now facing the ultimate crisis, and, as everyone
around him struggles, he seems to have found a peace they ca
