These camps are not designed to be a psycho-analytic counseling experience. We will bear witness to the hope of God’s dependable and unconditional love while working to create an environment of a trusting and supporting community as only camp can do. Camp Hope and Teen Hope are for youth with past or present exposure to drug and alcohol abuse. Camp Grace is for female victims of sexual abuse and Camp Peace addresses anger resolution issues. For males ages 12-15.

6 days and 5 nights of great fun, new friends and strengthened faith await each camper in an adventure they will likely never forget. Under the ever-watchful eye of loving, trained counselors, campers will return home full of stories they will share for weeks and months to come. For ages 8-11.

Housed in our wilderness camp site (see description above) these camps are all about the water. Campers will spend much of the week skiing or tubing on the Kentucky Lake. Water time is balanced with some of the usual Lakeshore activities like crafts, recreation and high and low ropes challenge course. For ages 12-15.

Based out of one of our new lodges on the main campground, campers will get up early to see if the fish are biting, play throughout the day and then return to the lake as the sun begins to set to do battle with the fish one more time. For ages 11-14.

United Methodist collegiate ministry training event, “Prepare 2013,” June 26-28, will meet during the Shared Space event at Loyola Conference Center in Chicago.
Shared Space is a gathering of multiple denominations that will conduct their respective training events while intentionally sharing space, learning, meals and other gatherings.

Check out the regional premiere of The Color Purple at Playhouse on the Square in Memphis! The show was nominated for 11 Tony Awards in 2006 including Best Musical and Best Original Score.
The Church Health Center in Memphis will host its second-annual night of theater at Playhouse on the Square and invites you to join them at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 28.
ALL proceeds from the evening will benefit the Church Health Center.
